SARAH TENANT-FLOWERS
Artistic Director
Sarah Tenant-Flowers is one of the leading choral directors of her generation, working with both professional and amateur groups and in the field of arts education. She studied music at Oxford and Durham Universities, arts administration at the Roehampton Institute and conducting with Sir Charles Groves, Peter Erdei, Laszlo Heltay and Alan Hazeldine.
She is Artistic Director of professional vocal groups Singscape and the Victoria Singers. In addition, the numerous choirs with which Sarah has worked include the Reading Bach Choir, Reading Festival Chorus, Kantorei der Friedenskirche in Düsseldorf, Guildford Philharmonic, Croydon Philharmonic and Sevenoaks Philharmonic Choirs and the Linden Baroque Choir. She is a frequent guest conductor and choral workshop leader with choirs around the UK and is Musical Director of one of this country's busiest and most innovative amateur choirs, Harlow Chorus.

Sarah is a Director of the Association of British Choral Directors and former senior management posts include those of administrator of the televised Choir of the Year Competition, Artistic Director of Music at Oxford and General Manager of the internationally renowned choir The Sixteen.

Orchestras with which Sarah has worked include the City of London Sinfonia, Britten Sinfonia, Alberni Symphony Orchestra, Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra and several period bands including the City of London Chamber Players and Fiori Musicali. In 2003 Sarah was appointed Associate Music Director of the Brandenburg Sinfonia, with whom she works overseas, in London and throughout the UK.
